This article serves as a guide for contractors as they complete the second step of the preliminary price submission process:

OBJECTIVES of this step:

1. For contractors to gain a comprehensive understanding of the homeowner's intended scope.

2. For contractors to itemize their price for the project.

TIPS for this step:

1. You can access and download a pdf of the homeowner's full Pricing Brief document for the project on the upper right of the screen.

2. Take note of the OSI column. OSI stands for Owner Selected Items. This is where you identify to the homeowner the value of material you’ve carried for items which they will either approve or select during the course of the project. Either click on the information “i” icon at the top of column or click here for the full definition of OSI.
